MYOFASCIAL RELEASE & CRANIOSACRAL THERAPY
Myofascial Release (MFR) and Craniosacral Therapy (CST) are gentle yet highly effective hands-on therapies that work with the body’s innate healing ability to relieve tension, reduce pain, and restore balance. MYOFASCIAL RELEASE
Myofascial Release focuses on releasing restrictions in the fascia — the connective tissue that surrounds and supports muscles, bones, and organs. Over time, physical and emotional stress, injury, poor posture, and dysfunctional movement patterns can cause the fascia to tighten and limit movement, often resulting in persistent discomfort or pain. Through sustained, gentle pressure and passive movement of the bones, MFR helps to soften and lengthen these tissues, improve circulation, and support realignment and freedom of movement.

CRANIOSACRAL THERAPY
Craniosacral Therapy uses light, therapeutic touch to support the central nervous system by working with the rhythm of the craniosacral system — the membranes and cerebrospinal fluid surrounding the brain and spinal cord. This calming, non-invasive approach is particularly effective for addressing the effects of trauma, regulating the nervous system, and easing symptoms like headaches, anxiety, and fatigue.
During a session, you’ll remain fully clothed and lie comfortably while your practitioner applies precise, gentle techniques to areas of restriction or imbalance. Many clients experience a deep sense of relaxation and relief, often noticing improved mobility, reduced pain, and greater emotional ease after just a few sessions.

THINGS TO KNOW
For your comfort and to maximize the benefits of your session:

Wear loose, comfortable clothing.
Avoid belts, zippers, snaps, or large jewelry, as they can interfere with the gentle techniques used in both Myofascial Release and Craniosacral Therapy. I’ll be working directly on the skin, so shorts and a very loose, short-sleeve, wide-neck top are ideal. A private changing area is available for your convenience.
Hydration is key.
Be sure to stay well-hydrated both before and after your session to support your body’s natural healing process.
Take it easy afterward.
To maximize the benefits, it's best to avoid heavy activity or intense workouts for the rest of the day. Once activated, this healing process continues for up to 48 hours after your session. By taking it easy and giving yourself space to unwind, you will support your body in continuing the process and integrating the work more deeply.
